Lateral Ankle Fusion

Clinical History 

63-year-old, controlled diabetic male with severe ankle arthritis and significant ankle varus (FIGs 1&2). The patient did have recurrent ankle sprains with pain and crepitus on a daily basis. The patient did fail bracing, NSAIDs, custom orthotics, custom shoes, activity modifications and corticosteroid injections.
